George Darrah | June 6, 1940 — October 17, 2023

Our community grieves the passing of George Darrah, who served previously on the Village Council and as Mayor of East Canton and impacted countless lives through his decades of teaching. We send our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Though we mourn his loss, we find solace in remembering the warmth, wisdom, and dedication he brought to public service and education. His contributions will not be forgotten. In his memory, let us come together to uplift and support one another as neighbors.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023, 5-7 p.m. in the Sanders Funeral Home, and on Saturday, October 21, 2023, 10-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. George will be laid to rest with military honors in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
