I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Christopher Hartlaub, and I have the honor of serving as the Chief of Police for the East Canton Police Department. I am reaching out today to personally invite your business partner with us in support of an exciting community initiative.

On behalf of the East Canton Police Department, I am proud to announce our 1st Annual National Night Out, scheduled to take place this August 5th.  from 5:00 – 8:00pm. at The Smith Gymnasium, located at 310 Browning Ct. East Canton, 44270.   National Night Out is a nationally recognized community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

This free, family-friendly event will include food, music, games, safety demonstrations, and opportunities for residents to connect with our officers in a relaxed and positive environment. Our goal is to strengthen relationships, promote public safety awareness, and celebrate the spirit of East Canton.

To make this event a success, we are seeking support from local businesses like yours. Whether it’s through a monetary donation, in-kind contributions (such as food, beverages, raffle items, or supplies), or event sponsorship, your generosity will directly benefit our community and help us create a memorable and impactful evening for families across East Canton.
