Village Council Vacancy

The Village of East Canton announces that Council President Nick Collins has resigned from his position on Village Council, citing personal reasons.

The Village is now accepting letters of intent from residents interested in being considered for appointment to fill the vacant Council position for the remainder of the unexpired term, which ends December 31, 2027.

Qualifications

To be considered for appointment, an applicant must:

• Be a registered voter within the Village of East Canton; and
• Have been a resident of the Village for at least one year.

Those interested in being considered should submit a letter of intent outlining their interest in serving on Village Council.
