East Council Meeting Schedules

Village Council Meetings are scheduled to occur on the first and third Monday of each Month at 7:00 pm. If the Monday falls on a national holiday, the village council meeting shall occur the following business day at 7:00 pm. Meetings are held at the Village Hall located at 130 Cedar St. S., East Canton, Ohio 44730

Primary Roles of Village Council

• The Council fixes the salaries and bonds of Village elected officials and employees.
• The Council works with the Mayor, Village Administrator, and Fiscal Officer to construct a budget for the Village annually.
• The Council may pass legislation in the form of ordinances and resolution by the procedures by a statute.
